According to the Hastings Observer services were temporarily delayed coming in and out of Hastings this morning after a train struck a man between Polegate and Berwick at Folkington overbridge off the A27 around 7.50am and involved the 6.49am Hastings to London Victoria service.
British Transport Police reported the man had been killed but were not treating it as suspicious. They believe the man was aged 62 and from Heathfield.
